Assistant Director of Nursing, Patient Flow and Care Transition

Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Assistant Director of Nursing for a recently opened 150 bed care centre in South Dublin. This is a full time permanent role where the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective management of patient referrals, facilitating admission and follow through including discharge planning. You will also act as case manager for patients as required. As part of a large nursing home group, the successful candidate will be offered excellent career opportunities and support. To be considered for the role, the following criteria will apply:

• Registered on the NMBI live register.
• 3 years post-registration experience in a relevant field and experience in managing patient caseload.
• Hold a recognised Managerial Qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
• Clinical experience working in older persons care or nursing home care.
• Working experience of HIQA Standards and Health Act Regulations 2013.
• An understanding of the Assisted Decision-Making process
• Have a good understanding of applications for home supports and NHSS/Fair deal.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
