Job Title: Vice President of Projects - Real Estate Location: [Chennai, Tamil Nadu] Position Overview: The Vice President of Projects - Real Estate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale real estate projects. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in project management, real estate development, and team leadership. The VP of Projects will work closely with executive leadership, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement project strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project management teams.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Project Oversight:
  • Oversee all phases of real estate projects from inception through completion.
  • Ensure that project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Review and approve project expenditures and financial reports.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Address and resolve project-related issues and conflicts.
  • Team Development:
  • Mentor and support project managers and team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and updates.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in real estate project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate development processes, construction management, and financial principles.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
