We are seeking talented individuals for our SPV/Project Company to be based in Saudi Arabia. We have two roles, as mentioned below: Locations: Taiba 2 Site (near Medina), Saudi Arabia Qassim 2 site (near Buraydah), Saudi Arabia Duration : Approx 34 months Overview This role will lead and drive the team of Engineers who will be actively involved in supervising and monitoring the activities of the EPC Contractors throughout each phase of the project. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction teams to deliver high-quality projects assuming full ownership of site readiness, construction, commissioning till achieving PCOD and handover to operation team.
- Develop and implement construction strategies and plans to ensure the project is executed safely, effectively, and completed in time and ensure all company policies, procedure safety programs, etc., are adhered to.
- Develop, implement, and manage health and safety strategies to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Develop the project department strategy to establish and implement policies, standards and guidelines for modern methods of construction (MMC),
- Oversees establishment of the project execution plan, health and safety plan, QA/QC, and other documents as required.
- Working in collaboration with the planning team to oversee design progress, EPC Contractors procurement/Purchase order Placement status and construction Progress.
- Actively engage with the EPC contractor and Subcontractor to monitor construction project progress against the schedule highlighting concerns, providing recommendations and implementing agreed mitigation measures.
- Directing and providing guidance and support for a team of Engineers in solving technical and essential problems with the physical construction of the project.
- Directing and providing guidance and support for a team of Engineers performing RFI and Surveillance Inspections.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/ electrical engineering or related field from a reputed university.
- 15 years of experience in construction management of large Combined Cycle Project preferably in Saudi Arabia
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate team of multinationals.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time ensuring HSE and QA/QC
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- In-depth knowledge of construction regulations and best practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are a plus
