Communication difficulties may be in one or more of the following areas: language (understanding others and expressing themselves); speech (sound development); fluency; voice/resonance; hearing (aural habilitation); need for augmentative and alternative communication; and pragmatics.This position may be required to work with children and youth with a complex profile of needs to deliver an interdisciplinary approach to care with community partnering agencies in an outreach capacity in the home, community or school.This is just a snapshot of what you would be doing. To learn more, you can find a full job description and an organizational chart at this sound like you?** Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario* Post-secondary degree in Speech Language Pathology* Sound understanding of speech language therapy amongst children and youth* Ability to identify goals and establish appropriate treatment plans to achieve said goals with children, youth, families and other care providers both in-person and virtually through telepracticing* Effectively educate children/youth, families and other care providers related to their specific needs, utilizing a variety of strategies and through a variety of mediums (group, individual, lectures, online, etc.)* Current CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certifications* Bilingualism considered an asset*Vaccination and Accommodation Policy*All employees are subject to mandatory immunization requirements as a condition of employment.
