About the role: The role of an Interior Executive on a construction site involves overseeing the interior design and finishing aspects of a project to ensure that the specifications are implemented effectively. EXPERIENCE Duties you'll be entrusted with:

  • Ensuring that interior design elements, materials, finishes, and furnishings are integrated into the construction process.
  • Supervising and coordinating interior construction activities, including installation of finishes.
  • Managing subcontractors and ensuring their work meets quality standards and project timelines.
  • Conducting inspections and quality checks to ensure that interior finishes and installations meet design specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Addressing any deficiencies or issues related to interior construction and finishing.
  • Communicating progress updates, addressing inquiries, and managing schedule and expectations.
  • Coordinating interior construction activities with overall project schedules to ensure timely completion of interior work.
  • Mitigating delays and addressing schedule conflicts to maintain project timeline.
  • Implementing safety measures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment on site.
  • Maintaining accurate records of interior construction progress, installations, and inspections.
  • Preparing and submitting reports, including progress reports and documentation of completed work.
  • Resolving technical issues, challenges, and conflicts related to interior construction and finishing.
Expectations from you: Basic Requirements Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction Management (or related field).
  • Certification in project management, interior design, or related fields is a plus.
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in interior construction coordination or a similar role.
  • Proven track record in managing interior design projects from conception to completion.
  • Experience working with subcontractors and trades in an interior construction environment.
  • Familiarity with building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations related to interior construction.
Skills:
  • Project Management: Strong ability to oversee multiple tasks and ensure the timely completion of interior construction projects.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, coordinating with subcontractors, and interacting with clients.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of interior finishes, materials, and construction methods.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve technical issues, conflicts, and delays efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and ensuring that all work meets the specified design and quality standards.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to keep projects on schedule.
Additional Requirements:
  • Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software.
  • Knowledge of Safety Protocols: Understanding and implementing safety measures on site.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changes and manage unexpected challenges in the construction process.
  • Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with design teams, contractors, and clients.
