Insights Psychology DMCC is recruiting for a Lead Psychologist/Head of Department for their psychology therapy/counselling team. It's a full time role to lead a small department of Psychologists and Psychotherapists at their clinic in JLT. The majority of the caseload consists of neurodiverse young people, parents/families of neurodiverse children, and neurodiverse adults. Duties would include:· Liaising with referral sources and clients to triage best fit/ suitability for therapeutic intervention and making referrals to the community when appropriate.· Clinical supervision for psychologists within the department.· Liaising with multidisciplinary team to support families.· The person would be expected to hold a caseload of more complex cases that may include young people/adults with mental health needs, and parenting support for families of children with social/emotional and behavioural difficulties.This would be an ideal fit for a seasoned psychologist with a well-rounded skill set, with a good understanding of main evidence based interventions for psychological therapy, and an interest in neurodiversity and helping families. Experience in a CAMHS service and family therapy is desirable. DHA or CDA license essential. Start date August 2023.
