Accountant

Job Description

Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Monitor project costs, revenue recognition, and budget adherence for solar energy contracts. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to track project expenses and revenue. Assist in tax compliance related to solar energy incentives and credits. Maintain accurate records of solar panel installations, warranties, and maintenance costs.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the renewable energy industry. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
