Key Responsibilities:Team Supervision: Lead and manage the core shop shotblasting team, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Foster a positive and productive work environment.Operational Management: Oversee daily shotblasting operations, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and meet quality and safety standards.Equipment Maintenance: Supervise the maintenance and repair of shotblasting equipment, including machinery and abrasive materials. Ensure that equipment is well-maintained and operational.Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of shotblasted cores to ensure they meet the required specifications. Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues and improve process outcomes.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of shotblasting operations. Use data analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Safety Compliance: Ensure that all shotblasting activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and provide safety training to team members.Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of shotblasting materials and consumables, including abrasive media. Ensure that stock levels are maintained and procure materials as needed.Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on shotblasting operations, including performance metrics, equipment status, and quality control. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on report findings.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Production, Quality Control, and Maintenance, to coordinate activities and address any cross-functional issues.Problem-Solving: Address and resolve operational challenges, equipment malfunctions, and process inefficiencies in a timely manner.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; or a technical diploma with extensive relevant experience.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in shotblasting or a similar industrial process, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity within a core shop or casting environment.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of shotblasting equipment, core preparation processes, and quality control standards. Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of shotblasting machinery.Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of process improvement and issue resolution.
