TEAM LEADER. CIVIL ENGINEER

Responsible for maintenance & project support functions included but not limited to Project Management, Site Management, QA/QC Monitoring and Control, etc. are all coordinated and properly staffed to meet the maintenance/projects goals.

• Responsible for supporting immediate superior in ensuring smooth execution of maintenance and projects in accordance with the maintenance plan and Project Implementation Framework.
• Responsible for supporting immediate superior in ensuring maintenance and projects adhere to the QA/QC standards as specified in the Contract and agreed in the Quality Plan.
• To ensure all maintenance and projects are delivered according to the specifications and requirements of the contract, on time and with quality.
• Responsible for executing the maintenance and projects in accordance with the maintenance and projects plan.
• Ensure safety compliance by all on site and serve as an example to others.
• To continuously improve personal competency skills, carry out quality inspections, and comply with project quality assurance standards.
• Prepares punch lists, minutes of meeting, and contractual follow-up.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2 years experience in Civil construction, preferably related to marine structures, offshore construction activities, port construction, or marine structure repairs.
• Strong computer skills in common software such as AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Having advanced knowledge in project planning and scheduling using common software such as Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge in Construction contracts.
• Knowledge in diving activities will be an added value.
• Well-structured work approach, able to coordinate, manage multiple maintenance and projects, and follow up thoroughly until the desired outcomes are reached.
• Strong knowledge of quality requirements and industrial standards in the port industry.
• Good communication skills and able to organize matters practically with the help of other team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay.
