Senior Data Scientist

You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from highly complex data sets to ask the right questions and find the right answers.Key Responsibilities: - Utilize Python, PySpark, ABI (data creation), Azure Databricks, Data Lakes, Git, Excel, and PowerPoint for various data analysis tasks. - Apply advanced supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques to develop predictive models and perform data analysis. - Support the client in assessing the effectiveness of their promotion campaigns. - Work flexibly with client tools for manual input of promotion details and generate output results, with the capability to build and automate processes if required. - Summarize and present results to business stakeholders through insightful dashboards and reports. - Maintain clear communication of task priorities and manage daily deliverables effectively. - Proactively manage client conversations, setting proper expectations and handling discussions diplomatically. - Contribute to the streamlining of processes and improve efficiency over time. Must-Have Skills: - Extensive expertise in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation. - Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presenting findings. - Proficient in SQL for data querying, extraction, and database management. - Proven experience in applying both supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques. - Strong understanding and application of advanced forecasting techniques. - Hands-on experience in implementing optimization models using Machine Learning Integer Programming (MLIP) and Linear Optimization. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - 4 to 5 years of progressive experience in data analysis roles. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Additional Notes: - Successful completion of tasks and deliverables is critical, with a focus on tool launches and demos. - The role involves significant client interaction, requiring a proactive and assertive approach to managing relationships and expectations. - This position may require extended working hours, and support will be provided to manage workloads effectively.
