Class 2 Driver

Salary: £17 per hour Reference: 43.C2NAZ Class 2 Driver Monday - Friday: Start times between 2.30PM & 4.30PM Pay Rate: £17.00 PER HOUR What's in it for me? Excellent working hours Excellent hourly rate Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Temp to perm opportunity Immediate starts No weekend working Whilst working with People Solutions, you will have access to our on-line Worker Portal where you can view your weekly pay slips and book your holidays Day to Day Duties Operate and drive various class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage and fuel consumption Report vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Essential Skills Hold a valid UK C License (Class 2) have a minimum of 12 months experience driving class 2 vehicles No more than 6 points and no major endorsements codes Have an in date UK CPC and Tacho Card Must be able to speak and read English to a certain level Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicle would be beneficial What training is provided?
