Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment) If you are passionate about HR and enjoy interacting with people from all levels, we want you in our team! Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, ASEAN, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR and Admin functions, which cover an employee life cycle from recruitment, on-boarding, engagement and off-boarding for ASEAN. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and support the day-to-day HR & Admin activities for mainly for Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.  Responsibilities:- HR Functions (60%)

  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment process eg. job postings, screen resumes, coordinate interviews etc.
  • Conduct HR orientation and manage onboarding and offboarding for employees 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Employee Handbook for Singapore & Malaysia
  • Involve in performance management and annual reviews exercises 
  • Organize training & development initiatives, administer training grants and maintain training records
  • Partner with 3rd party payroll vendor to manage Singapore & Malaysia’s payroll. Ensure compliance with labour regulations, payroll calculation accuracy and timely statutory payments
  • Administer employees’ benefits and insurance including enrolment and staff movement updates
  • Liaise with relevant government bodies on participation of mandatory surveys, work pass applications/renewals, reimbursement and claims
  • Administer and manage E-Leave system
  • Be the first point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Review and update monthly HR database report, staff movement reports and organization charts 
  • Create and maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Coordinate ad-hoc company functions, team building activities, annual gathering to encourage team bonding among colleagues 
Admin Functions (40%)
  • Provide a healthy and conducive work environment for all employees by ensuring that the workplace is clean, safe and well-equipped
  • Review and manage contracts/service agreement for office landlord and vendors eg. photocopier lease agreement, cleaning service agreement
  • Monitor and purchase Malaysia office supplies, stationery and pantry items
  • Develop and maintain proper filing and e-filing systems
Requirements :-
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related disciplines; preferably with specialization in Human Resources Management
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR generalist experience
  • Good understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia’s employment/labour laws 
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and at least one ASEAN language 
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint 
  • Good analytical, problem-solving skills and organisational skills, able to multi-task 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact with people of different levels in the company 
  • Meticulous, hands-on and able to maintain confidentiality 
  • A team player, highly independent and pro-active
