Your Responsibilities As a Commissioning & Support Engineer in Bahrain, you are responsible for onsite filed services & supporting our customers and clients throughout Middle East, Africa and India regions. You create project-specific documentation and proposals, and support customers with technical know-how for the installation and maintenance of their systems (travel time approx. 60% throughout the region). You deliver technical trainings locally as well as at customer sites. You also support the sales team at important customer events and trade fairs. You play a key role in a dynamic and motivated team, as the interface between customers, sales and R&D. Your Profile
- You have a degree in telecommunications or optical engineering, and a background in fiber optics.
- Creative and self-reliant, with a solution-oriented approach.
- Solid IT background - MS Office, SQL Server, Protocols (e.g. Modbus), Integration Experience.
- Project management experience.
- Your communication style is cooperative and reliable and you have outstanding spoken & written English skills.
- Experience with optical test and measurement, programming and CAD tools are advantageous.
