View job here Production Support Technician Full Time Le Cap, Afrique du Sud With Professional Experience 1/26/24 Overall Job FunctionsA member of the Test and Infrastructure team, responsible for the production support of various Aero Communication Products.Job Responsibilities           Schedule production support tasks with the Test Infrastructure Lead and Lab ManagerAssist with production support tasks that includes:Assist with administration, housekeeping, inventory and general maintenance of development laboratories and the calibration of electronic instrumentsAssist Jig support and calibration, tests jig, product fault finding and equipment set-upPerform debugging of production test failures and analysis of test resultsProvide jig support, repair and calibrationAssist with Lab work that includes:Building and evaluating of prototypes, soldering, assembly, repair, testing, measurement and failure analysisAll the test jigs are built, verified and commissioned through the E-LabThe shipment of off-site jigs and equipment which have been maintained in the labObtaining quotes and generate purchase requests for components and other hardware neededVerification of test results against production specificationsJob RequirementsDiploma in Electrical EngineeringMinimum of two years' experience in a production environment with at least two years' experience in a Production Test EnvironmentGood understanding of basic RF and antenna concepts, and digital and analog circuitsFamiliar with:Production processes and best practiceElectronic instruments and tools including oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analysers, spectrum analysers and related RF test equipmentMust be able to read schematics and use tools such as DraftSight, AutoCAD, PCAD Good problem solving skills, attention to detail and a passion for technologyMust be self-driven, good communicator, punctual and reliable Affirmative Action and/or EE candidates will be given first preference as per our employment equity strategies.
