Summary: We are seeking a Facility Management Specialist to oversee daily operations and safety briefings, monitor reports, and prepare for audits. The role also involves organizing maintenance tasks and coordinating with vendors for various services. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily Operations & Safety briefings.
- Monitor reports including MHE PMP checklist, facility updates, and Chargeman duties.
- Prepare monthly reports for External Plant Gemba, AMEA, and WH audits.
- Organize bi-annual high bay roof cleaning.
- Prepare for QS/GMP/Safety audits.
- Conduct visual checks, maintenance, and testing of standby generators.
- Perform minor electrical repairs and installations.
- Inspect main boards, sub-DBs, and safety parts.
- Liaise with Suruhanjaya Tenaga for generator registration renewals.
- Assist vendors with calibration of protection relays and maintenance of firefighting equipment.
- Ensure CMS system connection to BOMBA is functional.
- Oversee the renewal and servicing of portable fire extinguishers.
- Manage air conditioning system maintenance and minor repairs.
- Ensure the good condition of dock levelers, roller shutter doors, and warehouse flooring.
- Inspect and maintain racking systems, walls, drains, and premix.
- Coordinate with vendors on new projects and repairs.
- Monitor and ensure security systems (CCTV) are operational.
- Assist in safety and ISO audits.
- Oversee telephone repairs and installations.
- Address facility issues and breakdowns with the warehouse manager.
- Coordinate pest control services and inspect bait stations.
- Ensure MHE is in good condition and assist with servicing and repairs.
- Report and manage domestic water and hydrant pipe leaks.
- 1-2 years of experience in facility management, preferably with a logistics background.
- Experience in building maintenance is a plus.
- Must be A4 chargeman certified.
- Proficient in conversational English.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly.
