Quality Assurance Lead - Broadcasting

Our esteemed clients include ABC News/Disney, NBC Universal, Fox Sports, CBS Sports, beIN Sports, NFL Network, BNN Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, CBC, Radio-Canada, Sky News Arabia, Al Arabiya, Dubai TV, The Media Majlis Museum in Qatar, and Times Square.Job DescriptionThis role is crucial for ensuring the highest quality in broadcast graphics, contributing to the success of live broadcasts by delivering accurate and visually appealing graphics. - Lead and coordinate all QA activities within cross-functional teams of designers, developers, and graphic operators. - Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for templates and scenes in broadcast graphics workflows.2. Agile Workflow: - Collaborate closely with Agile teams to ensure seamless integration of QA processes within sprints. - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.3. Broadcast Graphics Systems Expertise: - Conduct thorough testing of broadcast graphics systems, including Vizrt and Ross Expression. - Validate templates and scenes against design specifications and operational requirements.4. Subject Matter Expertise: - Apply deep knowledge of US Election processes, Finance, and Sports to ensure accurate and relevant graphics. - Verify the correctness and timeliness of data used in graphics.5. End-to-End Pipeline Testing: - Test the entire graphics pipeline from external data sources through to templates and scenes. - Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance across the entire workflow.6. Quality Assurance: - Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. - Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and ensure timely resolution.7. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with designers to understand creative requirements and ensure they are met in the final output. - Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. - Coordinate with graphic operators to ensure smooth operation during live broadcasts.8. Process Improvement: - Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in broadcast graphics.9. Documentation and Reporting: - Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test reports. - Communicate test results and findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively.Qualifications- Extensive experience in QA within broadcast graphics workflows.- Proficiency with Vizrt, Ross Expression, and other broadcast graphics systems.- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.- Expertise in US Election, Finance, and Sports graphics.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to lead and mentor QA team members.Additional InformationFlexible work from home policyGlobal travel opportunitiesHealth Benefit Insurance Package (including online medical assistance withDialogue)
