ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of the projectHSE Program efficiently calling upon shareholder expertise andproject HSE staff resources to support project management andpersonnel in attaining project HSEobjectivesDrive Project HSE excellence throughSenior Project Management visibility andinvolvementEngage Project Leadership Team inthe development, review and endorsement of all applicable HSEsystems, programs and procedures for the execution of theprojectGuide, direct, train and motivateproject team members to take responsibility for their personalsafety and comply with ADNOC Offshore HSE Safety Policy,procedures, rules and accepted safe working practices, as well asapplicable Abu Dhabi HSE relatedregulationsEstablish system and schedule forconduct of regular project Safety Steering Team (SST) meetings withparticipation from Senior Project Management and managementrepresentatives from major contracting companies. Engage PLTmembers as active participantsEstablishworking relationships and maintain regular communication with ADNOCOffshore Corporate HSE, counterparts in shareholder companies andmajor project contract companiesImplement HSEbest practices as applicable from ADNOC Offshore, projectshareholder companies and the Oil & Gas Industry asapproved by Senior Project ManagementRecommendHSE staff resources necessary to successfully achieve HSE programobjectives. Provide functional guidance to HSE staff working underdifferent Project Management TeamsDevelop andimplement project specific Risk Assessment Management System (RAMS)in conjunction with Engineering Department or adapt fit-for-purposesystem from shareholder companyEnsure projectHSE requirements are included in Invitation to Tender (lTT)packages. Participate in tender evaluations or provide resourcesfor this purposeReview HSE related plans asreceived from contract companies and provide comments. Endorse asappropriateEnsure project HSE kick-offmeetings are conducted with project major contractors upon or inadvance of site mobilizationEstablish HSE KeyPerformance Indicators (KPls) and renew annually with SeniorProject Management endorsementEstablish systemand schedule for conduct of regular Project Management Team (PMT)safety meetingsEnsure system implementationfor prompt incident notification, reporting, investigation andtracking of corrective actions by linemanagementOversee collection of HSEperformance data and analyze trendsDevelop andimplement a Safety Observation and Intervention program to fosterworkforce safety involvement andownershipReview and provide HSE support forValue Assurance Process (VAP) and Stage Decision Support Packages(DSP)Act as project Security Point of Contact(POC) with ADNOC OffshoreGuide the design anddelivery of in house HSE trainingQualificationsB.S. in Engineering with minimum of20 years industry experience (Oil & Gas industry experiencestrongly desired) with at least 8 years in project relatedactivitiesMinimum of 10 years of HSE relatedexperience and minimum of 7 years supervisory / managerialexperience INT
