Develop and implement department strategyfollowing Daman strategy, set departmental and operational goalsand initiate measures to reach goals and to improve departmentperformanceLead performance management processevaluating progress against departmentalgoalsResponsible for result-oriented managementand development of people/resources, incl. provision of strongday-to-day leadership presence involving resource allocation,monitoring, reporting, and conducting regular staffmeetingsManage department expenditure andrequirements, minding the impact on the financialbudgetFoster organisational culture byestablishing quality awareness and service orientation andcomplying and implementing processes such as Project and ChangeManagementInitiate, develop, implement andensure adherence of policies andproceduresPromote the recruitment anddevelopment of UAE Nationals to contribute to Daman'sstrategic goalsDepartmentspecific:Create information security program incollaboration with all stakeholders such as Information TechnologyServices Leadership to build and maintain a multi-year cybersecurity roadmap for DAMANLead theimplementation, maintenance, enhancement, and documentation ofDAMAN's Information Security Program (e.g. SystemSecurity Plans (SSP), Business Impact Analysis and Assessment,Contingency Plan, Disaster Recovery, Continuity of Operations,etc.)Develop, maintain, publish and overseeup-to-date security policies, standards and guidelines. Create,communicate and implement a risk-based process for vendor riskmanagement, including assessment and treatment for risks that mayresult from partners, consultants and other serviceprovidersConduct Information Security RiskAssessment and coordinate audits on regularbasis.Recognise threats and vulnerabilities;identify information security issues andconcernsDevelop and implement prioritised risktreatment plan to tackle identified information security issues andconcernsEvaluate and incorporate governmentrequirements into Daman's Information Security Programme,by reviewing, calculating impacts, NESA reporting progress andcommenting on HAAD directivesPromote awarenessof security issues, including developing and conducting InformationSecurity Awareness TrainingDevelop and overseeeffective disaster recovery policies and standards to align withenterprise business continuity management program goals. Coordinatethe development of implementation plans and procedures to ensurethat business-critical services are recovered in the event of asecurity incident, and provide direction, support and in-houseconsulting in these areas INT
