AcademicQualifications and Certifications:Degree in Data Science, BusinessAnalytics, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering,Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another quantitativefield (preferably a bachelor's degree orequivalent)Relevant programming qualificationsand/or certificationsRelevant Agilecertification is preferableRequiredExperience:Demonstrable experience with one ormore programming languages (e.g. Python), statistical packages(e.g. R), and database languages (e.g.SQL)Demonstrable experience with datawarehouse and data lake technical architectures, infrastructurecomponents, ETL/ ELT, and reporting/analytictoolsExperience with common data sciencetoolkits, such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc. (excellence in atleast one of these is highlydesirable)Excellent understanding of machinelearning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM,Decision Forests, etcDemonstrable experiencein data modelingDemonstrable experienceapplying statistical methods and machine learning techniques tosolve business problemsExperience withdistributed data/computing tools such as Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive,Spark, MySQL, etc.Experience in working inmicro-services architecture working with APIsdevelopmentDemonstrable experience offull-stack software development with prolific codingabilitiesDemonstrable experience in Elasticsearch, Scoring, and recommendation on very large volumes ofdataExperience with Agile DevelopmentMethodologies and Test-DrivenDevelopment INT
