ResponsibilitiesInclude, But Are Not Limited ToPromote a safe working environment byfollowing all safety proceduresTroubleshootand modify software programs for material handling control systems,including PLC/PC controllers, Allen Bradley Controllogix andCompactlogix PLC platform utilizing RSLogix 5000 software package.Including Industrial networks such as Ethernet, ControlNet,DeviceNet, Profibus, AS-I, motor control systems, servo drives,frequency drives, and electrical distributionsystems.Act as first level escalation supportfor the control system technician teams. Appropriately escalatedowntime situations to vendors or headquarters for support torestore equipment operation.Apply subjectmatter expertise in material handling and electronic controlsystems to maximize building utilization ofsystemsMonitor MHE metrics and partner withControls Technicians and Mechanics to resolve equipment electricalproblems that create performancedeficiencies.Partner with Facility Operationsleadership, equipment vendors and parts suppliers to plan andcoordinate new technology installations. Acting as the technicalconsultant for capital projects inside thebuildingCommunicate technical issues andproject timelines with building leadership, operations and themaintenance team. Explain production impacts and work closely withoperations and engineering to ensure a thorough understanding ofimpact to systemsDevelop training plans forControl Systems TechniciansTravel up to 20% ata minimum.BasicQualificationsAssociates degree with a focus in inElectronic Technology or equivalentexperienceAbility to work a flexibleschedule/shift/work area including weekends, nights, and/orholidays1 year of experience working withcomputers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word,Excel)PreferredQualificationsBachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering or related field5+years of experience with Motor Controls (motor starts, variablefrequency drives, DC drives, and standard electricalcomponents)5+ years of experience withProgrammable Logic Controls (PLC) programs3+years with SCADA systems and KPI's3+years of experience supporting a wide range of conveyors andsortation systemsLeadership and projectmanagement experienceExperience with ASRSsystems and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems(CMMS)1+ year of experience working with AllenBradley1+ years maintaining andtroubleshooting robotics systemsPhysicalDemandsRepetitive bending, crouching,kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walkingduringLifting parts and tools weighing onaverage 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 49poundsDexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet(foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), andwrist motion (repetitiveflexion/rotation)Working conditions mayinclude small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures,inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for longhours and wet or unevensurfaces INT
