Job Description - PrincipalHiring an experienced Principal to lead the school academics in line with the vision and mission of the organization, ensuring high levels of parent satisfaction and enable the centre to be profitable on sustainable basis. The ideal candidate needs to provide strong leadership to the staff members, parent community and be child centric in approach.Key Responsibilities:Effectively carry out all Academic and Administrative dutiesEnsure that all provisions of the Affiliation and Examination Byelaws and all directions given by CBSE from time to time are strictly complied withEnsures the activities of the school are conducted in accordance with the rules laid down by the local authority, State Education Department and the respective Board of Examination (CBSE)Effectively co-ordinate with the Central office for policies or any updatesEnsure the information called for by the education department/ Central office is shared with them within timelinesEstablish and promote high standards and expectations for all student's academic performance and student disciplineEffectively ensure that the teaching staff is optimally engaged at all points in timeSupervise classroom teaching and effectively guide hand-hold and motivate teachers to give their best as per the Orchids curriculum philosophyEffectively conduct, manage, supervise various events like parent orientation, PTM, sports day, coffee meets, student events & competitionOversee the execution of the Curricular and Extra Curricular Programme as per guidelinesEffectively manage parent teacher association and respective committees and ensure parent delight during all parent interfaces with the school managementMaintain effective communication with students, staff and parents and effectively handle parent concernsEffectively control attrition by facilitating a conducive work environment for the school staffEnsure teaching and non-teaching staff are taken through induction program at regular intervals.Required Candidate Profile:Minimum B.Ed Experience: 5 years of work experience in academics plus minimum 5 years of recent work experience as a PrincipalExpected Competencies:Good analytical skills ability to make recommendations based on information gathered and sound judgmentSound Technical skills to manage they dynamic online learning platformsAbility to drive consensus in decision making, especially in conflicting situationsExtrovert, result oriented, mentor and leader focused on outcomes and ability to stand up to committed deliverablesStrong communication, interpersonal, presentation skills PRB
