Analyze local market trends andcompetitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel aleader in the marketplace through the development of future andrepeat businessDevelop and maintain customeraccounts to drive business into the hotel and to increasemarket/customer share in all revenuestreamsNegotiate room rates and packages withcorporate clientsPromptly respond to customerqueries in a professional manner, maintaining high level standardsof service and client relationships.To develophigh yield accounts according to the salessegmentation.To achieve sales target set byhotel.Conduct sales calls to existing andprospective accounts as per areas assigned byDOS.Maintenance of all sales activities andaccount information in the SalesDatabase.Maintain high profile within thetravel industry and foster relationships with accounts in theMarket.Preparation of weekly/monthly reportsas requested Director of Sales.Participationin selected trade shows.Ensure companies ofwhich you are responsible are being tracked in accordance withtheir room night targets on a monthly basis and report as per theguidelines set out by the DOS.Attend weeklysales meetings with the DOS.Conduct siteinspections and host familiarization visits whenrequired.Attend monthly review meetings withDOS to discuss results versus goals in the annual sales call planand company sales strategy.
