The Quality Engineer provides qualityassurance of the civil works for all the project's scopeby physical inspection. The aim of these inspections is to ensurethat the work is carried out in accordance with all specifications,standards and codes applicable. If deficiencies are discovered, theinspector makes suggestions to help the Construction Companydetermine how to meet therequirements.JobDescriptionPrepareInspection Test Plan for CivilactivitiesReview Method statement forConstruction and Testing activitiesChecks thepreparation of foundationsChecks the correctpreparation of reinforcementsChecks thecertifications regarding element mixes. LASTM test, chemicalanalysis, grain size analysisMonitorsatmospheric conditions during pouringoperationsMonitors correct curingoperationsChecks the sampling operations (whenrequired)Reviews the laboratory examinationresultsChecks sub-grade drydensityChecks moisturecontentChecks compression strengthtestIn-situ density of compacted Material(Compaction Test)Checks after execution ofcostingChecks after concretepouringChecks Concrete Compressive Strength (7days and 28 Days)Checks materials quality(wire, fitting etc.)Foundation and anchor boltverificationVerifies special processes and therelevant workers'qualificationsOrderly collect, check andmanage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections carriedout witnessing the tests, controls and inspections carriedoutCheck the conformity with the QualityControl Plan and obtain the relevantdocumentationCheck the documents certifyingthe tests, controls and inspections carriedoutEnsure the correct implementation of theapproved Inspection Test Plan according to ClientsrequirementsQualificationsAnd ExperienceYears ofexperience required: 5+ years of Oil and Gas Industry related QA/QCsupervisory position.Previous experience ofsupervision of multi discipline Project supportteamsExperience of working on major Civilworks projects with oil and gasinvolvementTechnical qualification (Bachelorof Science / Diploma or bachelor's in engineering -Civil)Fluency inEnglish INT
