Deliver thorough, independent andcomplete cost forecast for projects.Collectall relevant / needed information from the production estimator,design engineer, Project manager, and /or from sitevisitsProcess all gathered data and forecastthe optimal budget including a planning and worksequencing.Regularly consult with colleagues,from the commercial department and the project manager aboutcost.Come up creative and innovative ideas /alternatives in order ensure a competitive forecast project costestimation and efficient work planAssesproposals and prices of sub contractors andsuppliersEnsure gathered data and projectbudget infornmation is maintained and knowledge is transferred toproject management and commercialdepartment.Assist in preparing RFQ documentsfor project forecast purposes.Ensuremaintenance of database which contains prices / quotes from subcontractors.Closely collaborate withproduction estimator, colleagues from the project department andproject manager.Study and analyze of Bidstechnical and commercially, write scopeclarificationIdentify Risks, opportunities& assumptions made within the costestimates.Technical skills with thoroughknowledge of estimation principalsThis is ageneralist view of a Job that you have been assigned for - at timesyou may be requested to do above/beyond the scope of this role dueto Operational requirements.
