What is Head of Talent & Culture - MMBL?

This role is responsible for functions related to talent management and culture which enable MMBL to attract, engage and retain the right talent and drive desired behaviors in line with VEON's philosophy. You will be a key partner in the execution of MMBL's People Strategy, in order to position the company well for the challenges and new opportunities going forward.

This is a unique role that brings together strategic, operational, and analytical elements to drive sizeable impact through people. You will be reporting directly to the CPO and manage a team of specialists.

What Head of Talent & Culture - MMBL does?

Lead the development and implementation of performance and talent strategy at MMBL.

Design, develop and implement (through teams) talent review process that is aligned with MMBL's People & Organization's strategy

Ensuring achievement of business goals resulting in creating an internal bench of top talent.

Support the team in continuous evaluation and mapping of internal sources to build suitable talent/ successors for key roles as per business needs

Oversee the maintenance and execution of the Performance Management System, including a comprehensive approach for assessing, planning, managing, and developing the existing talent across the organization

Strengthen the talent framework in line with feedback and work towards digitalization of complete talent journeys including actionable outcomes

Be a driver for organizational development through transformative operational efficiency and explore new ways of working.

Ensure a culture transformation framework encompassing the employee value proposition (EVP) and initiatives to drive it internally and externally

Ensure awareness around the culture and values of MMBL and ensure they are embedded in all processes and practices that drive employee experience

Introduce tools and plans to measure and improve employee engagement levels on a consistent basis allowing respective teams to continuously work on focus areas

Recommend action planning strategies and maintaining a track to ensure the committed plans are executed and are adding value to the employee experience

Build and influence relevant policies to ensure we have a healthy, non-discriminatory and inclusive work culture in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Drive the Company's Diversity and Inclusion agenda through several context driven interventions.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Head of Talent & Culture - MMBL?

10+ years of broad HR experience including Talent, Learning, Employer Branding and Performance Management

Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Human Resources or related field

Professional HR certifications like CIPD, HRCI, SHRM etc. will be an add on

Proven track record of success in leading and managing high performance teams

Seasoned HR leader with strong business acumen and inspiring leadership

Ability to take strategic and tactical decisions

Strong interpersonal and motivational skills

Self-driven and intellectually curious individual, able to carry out impactful discussions with senior stakeholders influencing strategic priorities

Possesses ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to align Talent, Learning and Employer Branding Strategy

Demonstrable experience of managing projects and delivering successful outcomes

Experience of leading cultural change at an Organizational level

Demonstrate experience of thought leadership and the development of innovative approaches to complex problems.

Demonstrate commitment to the promotion of equality and diversity

Proven capabilities as a senior leader and manager, with a proactive flexible and inclusive management style

You are motivated to capitalize on digital platforms for ensuring cost efficiencies
