Engineering Manager/CTO

Position SummaryThe Engineering Manager/CTO will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction, development, and leadership of our engineering team. This role requires a strong hands-on software development background across various technologies, including Java, Python, C#, .NET, and experience in leading projects and teams across multiple domains such as Web Development, Data Engineering, DevOps, AI, and ML.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the engineering team, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment.

Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and deployment.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives and client needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Build and nurture a team of strong development leaders and technical experts within the organization.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decisions and technical roadmaps.

Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.

Manage resources, budgets, and timelines effectively to ensure successful project delivery.

Act as a key point of contact for technical discussions and decisions, both internally and with clients.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

12 to 16+ years of experience in software development with a proven track record in leadership roles.

Extensive hands-on experience in software development with proficiency in Java, Python, C#, and .NET.

Strong knowledge of web development, data engineering, DevOps practices, and AI/ML technologies.

Demonstrated experience in leading and managing engineering teams and projects.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.Preferred QualificationsExperience in building and scaling engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning frameworks, and big data technologies.
