Job Summary:The Budgeting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the budgeting process for the projects, and organization. This includes monitoring and analyzing budgets, preparing budget reports, providing budgeting guidance to projects and department managers, with ensuring compliance with budgeting policies and procedures. The Budgeting Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining financial discipline and supporting the organization's overall financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities & Roles:Develop and maintain the organization's annual budgeting process, including setting timelines, communicating requirements.Analyze department, and projects budget submissions, identify discrepancies or issues, and work with managers to resolve them.Consolidate all projects, and department budgets into a master organizational budget, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.Monitor actual spending against budgeted amounts on an ongoing basis, identifying variances and working with managers to address them.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reports for executive manager and Directors.Provide guidance and support to project, and department managers on budget planning, budget management, and budget-related policies and procedures.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure budgeting processes are integrated with accounting, forecasting, and other financial systems.Stay up to date in budgeting and financial management, making recommendations for process improvements.· Ensure the organization's budgeting processes and procedures comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal controls. Required Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldFive years of experience in budgeting, financial planning, or a related financial management roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify, and develop effective solutions is key-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholdersExperience with ERP systems, Familiarity with enterprise resource planning software (Oracle)
