Position located in Remote/Rural Districts of MP, Bihar, UP, Responsibilities:Gap Assessment in VPD Surveillance and Routine ImmunizationConduct comprehensive assessments to identify gaps in the surveillance of vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs) and routine immunization activities.Develop strategies and action plans to address identified gaps and enhance the effectiveness of surveillance systems and immunization programs.Routine Immunization MicroplanningDesign and implement detailed microplans for routine immunization activities, ensuring coverage of all target populations.Coordinate with local health departments and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of immunization microplans.Capacity Building of Frontline WorkersOrganize and conduct training sessions for frontline health workers, focusing on VPD surveillance, immunization techniques, and data management.Develop training materials and resources to support continuous professional development of health workers.Data AnalysisCollect, compile, and analyze data related to VPD surveillance and routine immunization.Use data to identify trends, monitor program performance, and inform decision-making processes.Feedback Sharing at Relevant PlatformsRegularly share data analysis findings, progress reports, and other relevant information with stakeholders at appropriate platforms.Ensure timely and transparent communication to facilitate informed decision-making and program adjustments.Partner EngagementCollaborate with local partners to align efforts in VPD surveillance and immunization.Foster strong partnerships to leverage resources, share best practices, and coordinate activities.Field Monitoring and Evaluation (FM/EM) Capacity Building and ReviewStrengthen the capacity of field monitors and evaluators through targeted training and support.Conduct regular reviews of field monitoring and evaluation activities to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.Monitoring and Validation ActivitiesImplement robust monitoring and validation mechanisms to ensure the accuracy and reliability of VPD surveillance and immunization data.Conduct field visits and audits to verify reported data and assess program implementation.Response in OutbreakCoordinate and lead response efforts during VPD outbreaks, ensuring rapid and effective containment measures.Implement outbreak investigation protocols and mobilize resources to support outbreak control activities.Quarterly Report SubmissionPrepare and submit comprehensive quarterly reports detailing program activities, achievements, challenges, and recommendations.Ensure reports are accurate, well-documented, and submitted in a timely manner to relevant authorities and stakeholders.Key Skills and Competencies:Strong analytical skills for data analysis and interpretation.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience in VPD surveillance and immunization programs.
