R&D Manager

Radici Plastics INDIA PVT LTD is the indian company of the High Performance Polymers Business Unit of RadiciGroup, one of the world's leading producers of a wide range of chemical intermediates, polyamide polymers, engineering plastics, synthetic fibres, with approximately 3,000 employees, and a network of production and sales sites located throughout Europe, North America, South America and Asia.The R&D Manager plays a central role in driving and ensuring continuous product innovation and development, thereby establishing Radici as one of the most innovative brands in the market.The candidate will report directly to the Head of R&D and QC of Radici Plastics India Ltd. Responsabilities define and design the formulation for NPD (new product development);develop new products that meet all specifications required by customers;review and manage project documentation (reports, testing, etc.);provide NPD samples or existing samples (FOC) according to marketing requirements;establish the scale-up of NPD grades on the main production line; Provide the technology package for production and quality;support sales team to respond to customer technical requests; provide specific data if needed;provide input to sales and technical support team with appropriate suggestions to customer questions and support all SDS, TDS and other compliance documents;Develop New Product, meeting all specifications as per customer requirement;technical documentation preparation: extrusion trails report other technical product transfer documents;prepare ISO/IATF documentation: prepare APQP files; support preparation of documentation related to internal and external audits (APQP feasibility reports, PPAPs). Technical Knowledge experience of New Product Development in Engineering Plastics;knowledge of Compounding/Polymerization/Chemical process;team management skills and experience;SAP Knowledge is a plus;knowledge of Windows programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Job requirements B-Tech/ MTech -Polymer/ Chemicals;minimum 5 years post qualification experience in similar roles;fluent English;problem Solving and interpersonal Skills. Location: Halol (Gujarat).
