Investment Consultant (Broker Consultant) - KZN

Great opportunity to join an Asset Manager, as a Retail Investment Consultant. The purpose of this role is to maintain and grow a network of IFA's in KZN. This role is based in Durban, and involves traveling to the broader KZN area.  Key responsibilities include: Relationship management: maintain existing relationships as well as identifying and developing new relationships with Financial Advisors (FAs)Ongoing training, effective marketing and pro-active promotion of company and its products to FAsCreating value-adds to your FAs business: gain an understanding of your FAs' business practices to ensure cross-selling opportunities are identified and the correct marketing approach is taken.Achieving targets, and conducting flow analysis to understand your FA database, analyse trends and identify opportunities.Events and collaborationsBusiness management:Provide weekly feedback to the teamPlan appointments and locations effectivelyMonthly call reportsQuarterly feedback presentation and flows analysisManagement of Road show set-up and collation of attendance (invitations and RSVP follow-ups)Compiling lists of relevant FAs for functions and gifts Core requirements include: Relevant degree in Commerce (Economics / Finance / Business Science)RE1 + RE53-5 years' experience in Investments, with at least 2-3 years experience in face-to-face client/advisor interactions Experience in actively managing an Advisor databaseRequired to travel (own car and driver's license)Relationship building, collaborative nature and resilience are key competencies  You understand and accept that, by applying for this role, you authorise Candidate Connect to obtain your personal information and utilise said information for recruitment purposes for this role.
