Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of complex solutions, coding larger features from start to finishActively participate in planning, and performing code and architecture reviews of their teams productEnsure the quality and integrity of the SDLC for their team and identify opportunities for improvement in how the team works, through usage of recommended tools and practicesLead the triage of complex production issues across systemsDemonstrate creativity and take initiative in solving complex problemsAs a high performer, consistently deliver a high volume of story points relative to their teamAware of the technology landscape, plan delivery of coarse-grained business needs spanning multiple applicationsInfluence technical peers outside their teamSet a consistent example of agile development practices and coach other engineers to work as a team with Product and UXCreate and improve internal libraries and toolsProvide technical leadership on the product and determine technical approachProactively communicate status and issues to their managerCollaborate with other teams to find creative solutions to customer issuesShow a commitment to delivery deadlines, in particular seasonal and vendor partner deadlines that are critical to Best Buys continued successBasic Qualifications5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience.Advanced level Full Stack software development experienceIntermediate level front-end development experience (React, JS, CSS, HTML)Experience of development in AWS, GCP, or AzureExperience with Micro Frontend and microservices platformAbility to triage and manage complex, production issuesExperience creating unit tests using Junit and Jest or similarExcellent communication skills, especially when working with a distributed teamAbility to pair program with other team members.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in an omni-channel communication environmentMobile development experience (React Native, Android/iOS)Familiarity with Jira, GitHub Actions or Jenkins, Splunk or Kibana or similar toolsExperience with CI/CD pipeline automationExperience with Expo, Mobile App Statistics and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)Experience in relational database and nosql databases.Experience with micro service development that produce/consume REST APIsExperience with one or more data-oriented workflow orchestration frameworksDevelopment experience with Twilio/FlexAbout Best BuyBBY India is a service provider to Best Buy andas part of the team that will work on Best Buy projects and initiatives, youll help us fulfill Best Buys purpose to enrich lives through technology.
