Marketing and PR Associate

The Marketing Associate role at Roy Kapur Films will entail:Marketing Strategy1. Ideate 360* innovative and creative marketing campaigns of all films and coordinate strategic alliances with various media houses (digital partners, TV channels, print publications etc.) to position and promote the content released by RKF.2. Ideate with the in-house team and take the lead in designing pitch presentations for concepts.3. Manage marketing strategy encompassing creatives, media, digital, promotions, branding, publicity, research and synergy across all distribution channels for feature films alongside RKF's partners/studios.4. Manage, contribute and follow through on the positioning and strategy to promote RKF's film and series across all the platforms.5. Work towards building robust relationships with relevant studios/media houses /other content production partner/event/brand and marketing agencies.Social Media Management 1. Ideate and execute social media and PR campaigns in conjunction with the digital media agency and PR agency, around the films and series in pre-production, production and pre-release with an aim to garner maximum eyeballs.2. Manage the RKF social media handles daily and work together with our digital media agency on creating content ideas and initiatives to grow subscribers and engagement on a daily basis.3. Provide competitive analysis and regular updates on marketing and digital media trends to management.4. Liaise with all stakeholders internally and externally and close relevant media barters with brands and various other partners.5. Implement, track and optimize digital and social marketing campaigns across all digital channels.Branding & Public Relations 1. Work with brands and branding agencies for both In-Film and Out of Film associations to execute and strategize branding for RKF's films and series in accordance with strategic priorities.2. Work in unison with the PR and Digital Media and Publicity Design agencies and our partner studio's marketing teams to launch and execute PR campaigns in a timely manner and within budget.3. Work with PR agency closely to draft press releases and press interview material.4. Lead Trade PR activities and Organize Events and Promotional Activities5. Lead Design of Packaging & Credits6. Prepare visual presentations for management interviews or keynote addresses at public forumsOther Marketing/PR Strategies 1. Conduct consistent market research and industry / business data analysis. 2. Track and share relevant industry and news updates. 3. Marketing-related vendor management (fixing meetings, quote requests and negotiations, contracts, coordination, follow ups). 4. Internally coordinating across cross functional teams. 5. Assist the management with inputs and data analysis required for making strategic and marketing decisions as required.Qualifications/skills required:Bachelor's degree in marketing/PR/media or relevant field. MBA preferred.Marketing/PR experience in the entertainment industry preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creative and strategic thinking skills.Attention to detail.
