Armed Response Officer

AM Security Services is recruiting ARMED RESPONSE OFFICERS to join our Public Safety Response team. This critical role has the responsibility to ensure that business environments and surroundings are patrolled to ensure the safety and security of our business communities and their customers. Responsibilities:Ensure quick and appropriate response to clients emergency callsEnsure visibility at standoff pints and during area patrolsEnsure clients complaints are handled efficientlyEnsure that the disciplinary code is adhered to at all timesEnsure the safety of clients by checking premises thoroughlyHigh standard of service must be upheldExpert knowledge about all facets pertaining to your positionAttend to all meetings and training sessionsKeep vehicle neat and tidy at all timesAssist with any problems or complaintsOfficers are required to submit comprehensive reports and feedback as requestedComplete daily/weekly/check listOfficer must stand off at delegated places during peak hoursHelp residents by advising and assigning possible security risksFollow up with clients after incidences and offer assistancePerform public relations service and introduction calls to new clientsMinimum Requirements:

Minimum Psira Grade C (Renewed)

Grade 11/12

Valid Driver's license

Live in the surrounding areas of Strand, Somerset West and Stellenbosch

Firearm Competency - Handgun, Shotgun and Carbine Rifle (Business Purpose)

Armed Response Certificate

Statement of Results for firearms training received (SASSETA/PFTC)

Experience working as an Armed Response Officer

Candidates must be prepared to undergo Fitness and Firearm proficiency assessments

Excellent verbal & written communication.

Neat and Presentable

No Criminal Record
