Assistant Manager - Internal Audit - Quality Assurance

Job DescriptionThe candidate is primary responsible for independently handling the internal audit functions like; Plan, manage, and perform audits, including determining audit objectives and scope, identifying and assessing risks, developing audit programs, and ensuring compliance with Internal Audit work paper standards for each audit.Knowledge of professional accounting and auditing standards, including standards for the Professional Practice of the Institute of Internal Auditing (IIA), Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). Must also have knowledge of common auditing practices used.Periodically analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the control system in place to mitigate risk and promote the control culture of the organization.Performing quality assurance within internal audit group.Liaise with all departments within the organization to ensure effective and efficient auditing of operations.Highlight any upstream fix to the client relating to systems, workflows etc to enable a robust control environment Governance ·Engage with the Statutory auditors and provide all the support to them.QualificationsAround 3-5 years of experience in internal audit function with experience in quality assurance within internal audit. Qualified Accountant or internal audit certifications with Min 3-4 Years of relevant experience. PRB
