Quality Assurance Lead

Job Description: As the Lead QA Engineer, you will be responsible for leading our QA team and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective QA strategies, processes, and tools. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.Key Responsibilities:and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success and professional growth.and implement QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and ensure product quality.and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.with development teams to identify and prioritize test cases, automate testing processes, and integrate QA into the software development lifecycle.and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.and analyze test results, identify defects and areas for improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive resolution.and report on QA metrics, including test coverage, defect density, and release readiness, to ensure transparency and accountability.abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA and software testing, and share knowledge and insights with the team.Requirements:experience in a QA leadership role, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring QA teams.technical proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG etc.understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices.communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.problem-solving skills and attention to detail.ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams.with performance testing, security testing, and/or other specialized testing areas is a plus.
