Regulatory Compliance Manager

Purpose:To provide assurance that the company's processes are being conducted as per the Company and Regulatory standards.Main Priorities:To perform compliance reviews as well as assist in establishing compliance processes and procedures for the Company within given timeframeReviewing internal process controls and compliance controlsTrack the development of processes reviewedTimely closure of the issues raised agreed during thematic reviewCheck the quality of closure To develop thematic review MIS, and highlight non-compliances/ issuesPrepare a standard process model to standardize review approachConduct in-house trainings on Regulatory mattersManaging Company's Code for Personal Investments/Trading in securitiesCarrying out special projects as and when requiredReview and filing of Company's Advertisements and ReportingQualifications:L.L.B. and / or Company Secretary / Insurance Graduate / Chartered Accountant / Post Graduate with 7-9 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 3 years of experience should be in process review/ process implementation pertinent to life insuranceSkills / Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of life insurance business, processes and regulationsShould possess ability to understand legal, business issues and processesMust demonstrate good verbal and written communication skill.Process orientation and identification of appropriate control mechanisms Excellent communication and inter personal skills to drive closuresExperience:At least 7-9 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 3 years of experience should be in process review/ process implementation pertinent to life insuranceCompetence in interpreting insurance laws and regulationsUnderstanding of insurance industry and regulationsReport writing, presentation skills with MS office PRB
