of the Far Niente Family of Wineries & VineyardsFounded in Oakville, California in 1885 and restored in 1979, Far Niente is consistently recognized as a benchmark producer of Napa Valley Chardonnay and Oakville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.Join our Company which is rich in history and stature.The Estate Director is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the estate. Works in a collaborative fashion to deliver exceptional guest experience for members and guests, resulting in strong sales, profit generation, long term engagement and brand loyalty.You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the estate with the primary focus on achievement of success metrics in alignment to the brand identity.Provides ongoing development to the team on wine knowledge, hospitality, and luxury service.Work collaboratively to secure the needed resources to properly run the estate from key leaders in facilities operations, marketing, information technology human resources and finance.Conducts daily walk throughs of the estate, ensuring our cleanliness, organization and luxury standards are represented properly.Responsible for the profitability of the estate and the management of appropriate resources.Ensures the estate operates in full compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations.Our organizational culture is built upon a strong foundation of shared commitments:Takes ownership of job responsibilities through focus, determination, and attention to detail. Demonstrates pride and provides relevant expectations and accountability.You will be qualified for this role if you met these requirements:Previous experience of 5+ years in winery, hospitality and / or luxury sales, management, or operational experience.Multi-channel consumer direct expertise including in-person retail sales, wine club or related loyalty programs.Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Business, Public Relations, Marketing or similar.Ability to provide excellent service to internal team and external guests.Microsoft office / POS systems.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Full body mobility.Ability to ascend and descend stairs.Ability to lift to 45 lbs.More about our Story:A dedication to winemaking in its highest form, paired with a focus on house style, vineyard ownership, social responsibility and legendary hospitality, has established Far Niente as one of the world's great wine estates and provided the foundation for growth of our other varietals.Over the years, five exceptional wineries have been proudly added to the Far Niente Family of Wineries and Vineyards: Established in 1989, Dolce is the only American winery dedicated to producing a single late harvest wine.
