Accountant / Tax Practitioner

Position: Accountant / Tax PractitionerLocation: Montana - PretoriaSalary: R18,000 - R20,000 gross per month (negotiable depending on qualifications and experience)Closing date: Ongoing PositionResponsibilities:Record financial transactions from bank statements.Utilize SAGE accounting software for data entry and financial report drafting.Assist in preparing financial statements for Trusts.Contribute to tax return preparation for deceased individuals and Trusts.Manage SARS correspondence related to estate reporting.Collaborate with clients to gather financial information.Ensure accurate and organized client file documentation.Stay updated on tax regulations for legal compliance.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.Ideally pursuing or possessing a relevant professional certification.Experience and Skills: Preferred qualifications include 1 to 3 years of prior experience in accounting or tax-related positions.Familiarity with CIPC database and transactions advantageous.Experience with Estate taxes.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication.Ability to work collaboratively in a team.Willingness to learn and adapt.High attention to detail in financial record-keeping.By submitting your information and application you hereby confirm:1.
