Our client is an experienced in-store agency shaping shopper behaviour and delivering growth for customers through innovative display solutions. With a background as a bespoke POP company, they have expanded to become a leading retail agency, working across Africa and beyond. They specialise in understanding Brands, Trade, Category, and Shopper to bring their clients' visions to life.This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Director located in Johannesburg. The Account Director will be responsible for managing key client accounts, leading and motivating a team, and driving sales growth. They will also oversee project management and ensure the successful execution of in-store experiences that connect brands with shoppers.RequirementsMarketing and Business Qualification - Marketing or Business Administration or related fieldIt is essential to have proven marketing and advertising agency experienceBTL experience is a mustIt is essential to have the proven experience in the development of brand plans and or strategiesPosition brands in direct alignment with the shoppers and consumersDemonstrated ability to increase the demand at the wholesaler, retailer or distributorAccount Management and Sales skills is imperative for the success of this positionProject Management skills and experience is essential and able to manage projects through multiple teams Proven and demonstrated experience in complex selling environments, being able to sell concepts backed up by the presentation of designed products.The ability to interact with a number of different stakeholders and navigate between multiple relationships, preferably in a corporate environmentBe able to think quickly on their feet, quickly revert to past experiences, and provide a few options for a solution. Ability to create structure from ambiguityAttention to detail and fastidiousness is essentialThe ability to inspire and build deep trust with clients and team membersCreative design competence is important for internal and external interactionsQualifications, Skills and BehavioursMarketing and Business Qualification - Marketing or Business Administration or related fieldHave a working knowledge of the retail environment, the shoppers and consumer behaviourBe aware and savvy regarding the insights of shoppers and consumersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong negotiation and presentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively and strategically in  a team and relationship builder is criticalAble to extend the working day beyond normal working hoursAdaptable to different personalities and styles of workingPatient in respect of long sale cyclesThe ability to be assertive and exert confidence in the execution of the functionsMotivated to perform at optimum levelsBenefitsTotal Cost to Company R60 000 + commission
