Design and Estimation Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design and Estimation Engineer to join our team specializing in doors and windows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise designs and accurate cost estimates for various door and window projects. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes related to doors and windows.Key Responsibilities: 1. Design Development: • Create detailed designs and drawings for doors and windows using CAD software. • Ensure designs meet industry standards, building codes, and customer requirements. • Collaborate with the sales and production teams to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions. 2. Cost Estimation: • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for doors and windows projects based on engineering designs. • Analyze and evaluate material, labor, and manufacturing costs. • Develop comprehensive bid proposals and tender documents. 3. Project Coordination: • Work closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of design and estimation with project objectives. • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. 4. Product Specification: • Select appropriate materials and hardware for doors and windows based on project specifications. • Ensure all products meet quality standards and performance criteria. 5. Documentation and Reporting: • Maintain detailed records of design modifications and cost estimates. • Prepare and present reports on project progress, design changes, and cost variances. 6.
