While our products are in development, our mission remains clear: to engineer unparalleled experiences that transcend boundaries, sparking a revolution where innovation fuels extraordinary journeys.Website: www.xstrad.com | www.trydantech.comLocation: Coimbatore, Tamil NaduHardware Embedded Electronics and Power Electronics EngineerKey Responsibilities:Electronic Design and Simulation:Utilize electronic simulation and design software such as Cadence, Allegro, Ansys, and Simplis to develop and validate hardware embedded systems for electric vehicles.Design and simulate AC-DC converters (DO-160 requirements), DC-DC converters (buck, boost, sepic, flyback), and power input EMI filters to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.Component Selection and PCB Design:Select appropriate electronic components based on performance, reliability, and cost considerations.Develop schematics and perform PCB routing, ensuring adherence to IPC standards and best practices in design.Safety and Standards Compliance:Ensure designs comply with safety standards such as ISO26262, integrating necessary safety measures into hardware systems.Conduct worst-case analysis and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential failure points in PCB designs.Communication Protocols:Implement and validate different communication protocols, including SPI, I2C, SGMII, and CAN, ensuring robust and reliable data transfer within embedded systems.Field Analysis and Problem-Solving:Analyze field return parts to identify root causes of failures and develop corrective actions to improve product reliability.Provide feedback to design and manufacturing teams based on field analysis results to enhance future product iterations.Thermal and Structural Analysis:Perform thermal analysis using CFD simulations and heat transfer analysis to ensure proper cooling and thermal management of hardware components, particularly batteries and motors.Conduct structural analysis using FEA techniques to evaluate the integrity, strength, and durability of embedded systems under various loading conditions.Collaboration and Documentation:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers, to ensure seamless integration of hardware embedded systems within the vehicle.Document design processes, test results, and validation reports, maintaining clear and thorough records for future reference.Qualifications and Skills:Strong fundamentals in physics & mathematics.Knowledge of fundamentals safety (ISO26262) & IPC standards.
