Details:Role- Database AdministratorGrade-Vice PresidentExp-15 to 23 yrsLocation- Chennai, NavalurMode-WFONOTE : 15+yrs experience in banking is mandatorySkill SetsOracle 19x release onwards both on RAC & non-RACAdditional KnowledgePostgreSQLRoles & Responsibilities- Lead a team of DBAs to provide Database related support with guidance for BAU & Production support- To set KRAs for the team and conduct the Performance Appraisal for them- To be responsible for day-to-day Task Allocation, Throughput, Tracking, Conflict Management, handle attrition etc in the team- To identify initiatives to upgrade the efficiency of support & on the environment.- Coordinate with internal Project teams to address their Database support requirements- Coordinate/Participate in calls with Banks/Customers/Auditors to represent & clarify/provide solutions for their Database related queries/needs.- Ability to understand the Business domain requirements and provide tailor made solutions from the Database end.- To comply with internal process and Data Security related mandates.RequirementsHands-on knowledge on DB installation from 19c onwards.Worked in BFSIExperience in Application Tuning, Data Model & Oracle architectureExperience in stakeholder management and interpersonal skillsExperience in handling Production Support Team & issues.Process Orientation, Change log maintenance & planning of DB activitiesAbility in reading/interpreting AWR, ADDM & SAR reportExperience in DB Metrics collection & MIS ReportingExposure on Domain knowledge from end-to-end perspective.Experience in preparing Support Roasters, planning for major activities like upgrades/EOY etcAbility to identify Service level improvements & self driven initiativesExperience in handling Resource Management, Tasks Assignments, Conflict Management & conducting Performance Management.Ability to plan for technical impact analysis, dependencies, backout plan etcExperience in handling DR Drills in a Production environmentExperience in all Oracle tools/features like sqlplus, SQL Developer, SQL*Loader, Materialized View, Explain Plan, SQLRT, SPM, PL/SQL etcAbility in handling Database recovery, control file corruption etcFamiliar on Data Security controls such as TDE, Redaction, PII Masking etcExperience in handling RAC, Stand-alone DBs, Primary Vs Physical Vs Logical Standby databasesTechniques for Data space optimizationOracle Certifications PRB
