Head of Supply Chain Management

Designation: Head - Supply Chain Operations Job Location: BangaloreJob Overview: Stong control on warehouse operations and handling larger SKU along with creative solution to control the cost and align the process.Industry Background Looking for: FMCG Job Description: Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality across the organization.Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to ensure favorable terms and reliable supply of materials and services.Strong hands-on experience in warehouse operations and management and large 10000+Skus handling experience to implement new policy and accountability to processinventory control and dairy products processLead the global costing team on annual product costing process performance reporting and variance analysis against plan (in a Moving Average Cost environment)Ability to analyze actual usage of bill of materials and related materials, labor, and overhead varianceKeep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.Understanding of principles of accounting and finance.Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds in order to identify problems and find solutions.Lead the integration of supply chain processes with other business functions, such as sales, marketing, finance, and production, to align objectives and enhance overall operational performance.Implement advanced analytics and supply chain management tools to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and identify opportunities for process improvements.Develop and maintain sustainable and ethical sourcing practices, ensuring compliance with legal standards and corporate social responsibility commitments.Coordinate risk management efforts across the supply chain, including the development of contingency plans to mitigate the impact of disruptions, shortages, or other unforeseen challenges.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team, encouraging innovation, professional development, and collaboration to achieve strategic goals.Represent the company in industry associations, conferences, and professional groups to stay informed of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain management.Skill Set:Master's degree in business management, supply chain management, or related field.Candidate should have 15+ years experiencecandidate should be from MBA from tier 1 or tier 2 college (Must)Relevant experience require experience in a related field (Warehouse operations and Supply chain)Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.Understanding of accounting or finance.Must be able to comprehend legal documents.Strong communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships with people all over the world.CTC up to - 40LPA + Variables PRB
