Designation : Head, Design & MerchandisingRole: To keep Aukera ahead of the curve at all times in terms of ProductResponsibilities 1. Define vision for Aukera Product2. Define Design Strategy 3. Working with IT to bring in tech to merchandising4. Build Aukera Product Obsession at an org level5. Achieve stock turn objectives as defined by the managementKRAs1. Develop a merchandising grid - along with requisite resources available in the team. (Adequate assistance on numbers will be provided)2. Benchmarking and Best practices - a good understanding of brands that are cutting edge in product functionality, design aesthetics3. Consumer insights - work with the marketing function to get a sharp understanding of who the customer is, what are their motivations and barriers4. Develop an annual design plan5. Identity possibilities in jewellery findings and finishes that could redefine craftsmanship and some that can be points of distinction for Aukera6. Conceptualise an iconic product for Aukera7. Define merchandising standards for the stores8. Provide Input into sales staff recruitment, training, grooming and product presentation9.
