As we continue to uphold our standards, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Head of Quality Department.Position Overview:The Head of Quality Department will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability for our casting products. This position requires an individual with extensive knowledge of foundry operations and a keen understanding of the root causes of casting rejection. The successful candidate will lead efforts to identify, address, and prevent quality issues, while also overseeing corrective actions and maintaining detailed records of rejections.Work Location: Coimbatore (Relocation is required in case of outstation candidates)Key Responsibilities:Root Cause Analysis: Utilize expert knowledge of foundry operations to identify the root causes of castings rejection. Employ a data-driven approach to analyze rejection trends and develop strategies for continuous improvement.Corrective Action Oversight: Delegate and oversee corrective actions to address identified quality issues, collaborating closely with departmental heads and supervisors to implement effective solutions. Keep track of corrective actions to ensure systematic implementation and monitor their effectiveness in reducing rejection rates.Quality Assurance & Control: Establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes and procedures to prevent quality issues before they occur. Implement inspection protocols, quality control measures, and process audits to uphold quality standards throughout the production process at Moulding, Melting, Shot blasting, Fettling and PaintingDocumentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of rejection incidents, including root causes, corrective actions, and outcomes. Utilize comprehensive documentation systems available at Ranba, to track rejection rates, trends, and improvement initiatives over time.Training and Development: Provide training and support to employees at all levels of the organization to enhance quality awareness and promote a culture of quality excellence. Offer guidance on best practices, quality standards, and problem-solving techniques to empower teams to contribute to quality improvement efforts.Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for raw materials, and other inputs to the foundry process. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality requirements and drive continuous improvement in supplier performance.Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement in quality performance, productivity, and efficiency.
