Client: A data science company with offices in multiple locations in India working with clients across geographies. Position: Manager - Data ScienceExperience: 4yr - 7yrLocation: Mumbai (Preferred) / Noida/ BengaluruCTC Offered: Upto INR 34LPA + variableJob Summary: As they expand, they are seeking a Data Science professional with a strong foundation in predictive analytics who is comfortable to transition into a business development role. You must have worked in the business consulting or technology consulting domain with one of the Top 6 consultancies in India. This role offers a pathway to transition into business development, combining your technical expertise with strategic client engagement and business growth initiatives.Responsibilities:Predictive Analytics:a) Develop and implement predictive models to that can provide solutions to business problems.b) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure the quality and accuracy of data.c) Focus on delivering actionable insights using statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining processes.d) Interpret and communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.c) Continuously monitor model performance and refine as necessary to improve accuracy.Business Development:a) Research and identify new business opportunities to pursue by leveraging insights derived from predictive analytics.b) Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for expansion.c) Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.d) Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that highlight the value of predictive analytics in solving business problems.e) Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies that drive business growth to meet revenue targets.f) Represent the company at relevant networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings to promote brand awareness and generate leads.Requirements (Must Have):a) Minimum of 4 years of experience in predictive analytics and data science, preferably with one of the top 6 consultancies.b) Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, and ML libraries.c) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.d) Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate technical findings into business insights.e) Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.f) Must have experience of driving/executing projects for clients based in Indiag) Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving business growth and client engagementh) Willingness to travel domestically when required to attend meetings, conferences, and client presentations.Requirements (Preferred):a) Experience in a pre-sales, business development or sales role.b) Knowledge of industry-specific trends and challenges.c) Familiarity with CRM software and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.Qualifications (Must Have):MBA in Marketing from a Tier1 or Tier 2 institute    ANDBE/BTech or BSc(Maths/Stats/Economics/OR) PRB
