We will look for candidates with sound fundamentals rather than surface application of techniques. Ability to learn and adapt to the ever-evolving AI field with its new techniques and technology.Experience: Preferably 10-15 yearsEducation: Bachelors/master's in computer engineering or related fieldsWork/Problem space:Work will span domains - ranging from manufacturing, life-sciences, finance to retail.Problems could span business functions - ranging from Operations, Sales, Finance, IT to HRCore skills preferred:Application of Machine Learning and Data Science to problemsStatistical ML techniques, deep-learning, computer vision and NLP (deeper knowledge on at least two of four)Analyze, design and develop complex AI ML (machine learning)Model performance analysis (evidence-based and statistical techniques)Assist in deploying and post-live monitoring of solutions.Technology space:Open Source: Python and RCoding standards based on PEP8 or Google PythonPlatforms: One of these is good enough - Azure, Amazon, GCP, DatabricksDatabase systems: Working and integration knowledge of basic SQL based RDBMS, NoSQL document-based databases such as Elasticsearch and/or MongoDBExposure/knowledge of deployment strategies such as API and docker containersAdditional soft skills preferred:Work independently and/or in small teamsLead and develop young team membersAgile working environmentCollaborate with architects, data engineers and deployment teamsInterface and interact with business clients, internal corporate group and function leadsGenerally good learning, leadership, communication, team working skills PRB
