Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering innovative solutions to meet business objectives, this role involves a combination of technical, managerial, and strategic responsibilities, a few of which are mentioned below.Key Responsibilities:Developing and executing the overall strategy, design and Architecture for B2C and B2B Mobile applications, including defining the product roadmap, feature prioritization and delivery timelines.Accountable for the design, for the ease of evolution, quality of the systems, performance, observability, scaling, and availability characteristics and limitations of the systems.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and integration.Design, optimize and integrate complex mobile applications with distributed backend microservices ensuring they are scalable, secure, and performant.Enhancing the operational efficiencies, devising innovative solutions and leveraging the IT platform to create business differentiators.Establishing and enforcing best practices for software development, quality assurance, and project management to ensure successful and timely delivery of the IT applications.Architecting and designing apps using native controls, UI frameworks, interface builders, and event handling.Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the technology space, and identifying opportunities to enhance and innovate the platforms.Drive code and design reviews of components / systems / products in scope and drive the architectural governance for them.Strategizing & driving the projects covering areas of automation/process improvements, performance improvement, capacity upgrades, technology refresh.Implement mechanisms to monitor and manage progress, milestones, and risks associated with the Mobile App development and implementation.Leading and managing a team of developers, designers, and support engineers responsible for building and maintaining the Mobile applications.mentor and guide the team members with design patterns, developing reusable artifacts/frameworks, re-usable assets development.Managing vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and service-level agreements with third-party providers.Job Requirements:B. Tech. in Computer Science / Post Graduate in Computers15+ years of engineering management and architecture experience.Strong experience in B2C and B2B Mobile architecture with a background in designing and leading the development of consumer-facing mobile applications.Proficiency in software development methodologies, tools, and technologies, including Agile, DevOps and cloud computing.Experience in building large-scale, high-traffic and secure mobile and web applications.Strong understanding of architecture and design principles, such as microservices, APIs, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).Strong leadership and people management skillsStrategic ThinkingStrong problem-solving and analytical skills PRB
