CoE's are our engines of innovation and growth.Role SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Cloud Centre of Excellence (CoE) within our Digital business, to lead, grow and develop our Data & AI business and capability. You will play a critical, customer-facing role, evangelising and showcasing the potential of the use of Data & AI in Utilities. Engaging with our largest customers, you will win and deliver leading edge solutions, helping our customers transform their business through Data & AI in the Cloud, delivering regulatory targets in support of the energy transition.The role requires Practice Leadership experience, proven in leading an internal business and solution team to deliver growth, while being equally comfortable with Data & AI as technology domains, developing Utilities centric propositions and solutions in modern, cloud-based Data & AI capabilities and leading exec level engagement. This combination of strong business, people and technology experience, will position the Data & AI Leader at the Centre of delivering leading Data & AI cloud-based solutions, aligned with our customers' strategic goals and industry best practices.The successful candidate will be equally capable of articulating Enzen Data & AI capability in terms of business value as well as in technical depth. As above, the role will have a people leadership and strong solution delivery dimension. While we remain technology and product agnostic, our preference is that candidates have strong Microsoft relevant experience. Key ResponsibilitiesThe role will report to the UK Cloud CoE Leader and will be primarily responsible for: Capability Building - Ownership of new Hires across all bands including graduate programsCoE building and mentorship of 50+ team size at all levelsEnd to End ownership of technical solution delivery involving all areas of Data Engineering and Data Science with a focus on promoting AI led use casesPre-sales support including bid responses, client pitches and PoC preparationsOwning the technical solution for bid responses, key deals and delivery engagements, leading to new business and revenue attainment for the respective Solution Area.Possess a strong data pedigree with experience across various Data Science and AI use casesLeading and/or contributing to relevant Partner relationships.Developing others, through technical leadership, coaching and mentorship.Advocating for Data and AI best practices and staying abreast of the latest advancements in the cloud ecosystem. Desired ExperienceData & AI Leadership: Experience as a Data & AI Practice Leader or equivalent, with a proven track record of leading both business and managing teams. Demonstrate capabilities in promoting AI use cases in past organizations embedded within automationTechnical Skills: 10+ years of experience in data and analytics, with expertise in data analytics/engineering and relevant data science knowledge. Proven experience in delivering cloud-based Data & AI solutions for business value in a Utilities context. Tools and Technologies: Handon knowledge and experience of implementing Generative AI, LLM, OpenAI models, MS Copilot, Azure AI servicesCloud and DevOps: Experience in delivering SaaS solutions on the cloud, knowledge of cloud-based Data & AI platforms, and experience with CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge and experience of the Energy & Utilities sector will be an added advantage.Commercial and Soft Skills: Proven communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders. Problem-solving and analytical mindset with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.Desired EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.and/or technology certifications in Data or AI (desirable).certifications (Azure/AWS) and Databricks certifications (desirable).
