Sr. Quotation Support Engineer

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Primary responsibility is to support sales/sales support teams during quotation & orderstage To support sales/sales support teams for preparation of techno commercial offerincluding selection, pricing of valves, actuators & accessories as per customer datasheet. Communicate with internal stake holders to clarify the technical requirements of theproduct and other commercial requirements on the quotation.  Follow up with the quotation process. Work with internal teams (e.g., customer orderengineering, product lines, manufacturing engineers, materials, and other inter-companyunits), to get the lead time and price information. Response quotation within the targetedlead times.  Track the status of the quoted quotation. Keep close contact and give support to internalcustomers to increase the hit rate. Supervise team in supporting Sales & Sales support teams for Quotes, Orders.  Work with the team and take necessary actions to improve customer satisfaction andmeet the business targets.  Responsible to calculate optimal pricing & define delivery lead time Providing optimal technical & delivery solution to sales office Responsible for making best price offer and alternative solution to develop businessvolumes domestic and global markets. Managing day -to-day work related challenges / issue and meeting the organizationaltargets Actively participate in executing task schedules to ensure timely completion of allassigned duties. Responsible for order change and revision request & follow the defined flow controlbusiness process. Participate in Global quotation support development projects as needed.Knowledge, Skills, and Ability B.E/B Tech degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ChemicalEngineering or process (process industry) discipline. 6 to 9 years / 9-12 years' experience of the project business with control valve, actuatorsizing, selection capabilities. Knowledge of Pulp and Paper, as well as Energy and Hydrocarbon industries is a plus Sound knowledge of Instrumentation accessories for control valves, ON OFF and ESDvalves is plus. Strong problem solving and analytical skills Need to act as good team player Domestic & international travel is required, at times. Strong oral and written communication skills Must be proficient in MS Office suite PRB
